So...I had a phone interview on Weds in CA and heard from my agency that the hospital wants to hire me. I got a brief breakdown of pay from my recruiter, then a fill-in recruiter left me a message today asking if they can tell the hospital that I will be accepting. I'm thinking I have to get a more formal offer of terms, pay, benefits etc from the agency before telling sub recruiter that they can tell the hospital I'm in...right?

The agency can tell the hospital anything they want. From your perspective, just tell them you'll be happy to commit, pending acceptance of a contract you have yet to see.
