Two weeks ago my packet was submitted to the board for a 66H8A slot. Today I called the recruitment Tech who said that if I'm not selected then I will go on the order of merit list for up to one year. What does that mean? Recruiter is on vacation this week.

As far as I know, that is like a waiting list if they have met their quota for your MOS. The new fiscal year will start in the fall so I dont think it would be too long of a wait. Although your recruiter is on vacation I would think another Health Care Recruiter in that same office could answer more of the specifics for you. Good luck and try to be patient(easier said than done, I know:bugeyes:)

Hi DMURSE1, I went to May board. My Rec. told me my packet was placed on OML in early June. It has been a month but I haven't heard anything from my Rec. BTW what is your sequence number in the nation?

I now realize that patience is not my virtue. This whole army process takes forever.

My packet was submitted at the end of June. The recruiter told me that they have not met their quota for 8A's yet so I will not be on the OML. Being prior enlisted, I have little faith in the validity of what recruiters say.

What is a sequence #?

Thanks
