OR Travel Nursing

I was wondering how much demand there is for OR travel nurses? I saw another thread that stated ICU & ER are two areas with the most demand.

I'm not making any immediate plans for travel nursing; just curious as to what is the demand for this area of nursing, and any personal experiences.

Well, I didn't really get an answer to my question. Based on the lack of replies I believe this indicates OR travel nursing does not have much demand. Perhaps the time and orientation involved with OR nursing makes this area of nursing a less demanding field in terms of travel nursing.

Check out the AORN magazine and website- http://www.aorn.org/. They always have lots of travel companies looking for OR nurses. Good luck.
