I'm searching for a school in Vancouver or BC as I'm from there and would like to move from my current home- Toronto...
I just looked at the UCFV site (Fraser Valley) and it seems great, more expensive though and I"d have to retake my BIO and CHEM because I"m a mature student (which would delay the whole application process etc.. plus I still need to upgrade my Math!)
Langara has a bit longer of a waitlist and I wouldn't have to retake my sciences- and I read a lot of folks on here talking about clinicals in the first year being a great boost and they have that (so does UCFV...)
I'd love to hear what people think of the courses of these two programs- which one sounds better... I'd pay the extra and do the grunt work of retaking my BIO and CHEM if the UCFV is worth it in the long run...
Cheers guys!

Hey Jen! I replied in your other thread a bit. You can PM me and ask me specific questions about UCFV, I am entering my 4th year. Langara is a pretty good school, as far as I know. Community and public health are upper level classes (3rd and 4th year) In your 4th year, you do a 16 week Perceptorship from Jan to May. They you grad! Any specifics...ask me!
Hope this is a bit helpful

Hi there, Im going into term 4 at langara...it's been pretty good so far, good clinical experiences. I actually waited like a year and a half. If you have any questions feel free to ask ! :)
Hey there Canadiangal
Thanks for your reply. I've put in my application for Langara... have you heard any feedback on BCIT's program?? It's shorter and not in the collaboration program...
Thanks!
Jen
