I really would love to be an operating room nurse. But I am quite lost where to start or continue my journey.
I am now currently stuck unemployed. I've been an RN since 2007 but has only worked at an opd clinic for 1.5yr.
I would love to have any volunteer-training so that my skills will improve and my quest to be one of the best OR nurse. will even start. Right now, I've done a 1month training for peri-operative. I hope someone could help me find the right direction.
Is there an OR nurse here or someone who have an idea/tips? Thank you very much. Godbless!

In most trainings, like the one I'm in now, you will first be assigned to the wards then your performance will be evaluated after 3-4 months to see if you can be trusted enough to be assigned at the special areas like OR, DR and ICU. Hope this enlightens you. Good luck!
Thank you for your reply! where are you having your training? are they still accepting?
