Anyone applying to NP school in Ontario for the year 2025?

Would love to have a discussion started for acceptances, etc.

Have you heard anything yet? I applied end of march for the post-masters stream and have not yet heard back. Very stressful!

Nothing yet! The waiting game is so awful! Hopefully we'll know something soon

Yeah this week should be the final week (if all goes according to their plan). I found a 2024 NP group on this platform and it appears that some offers went out in June.

Hopefully everything's posted by end of this week 🥲 still waiting to hear from TMU and York

has anyone heard from UofT this week? good or bad news?

Thank you to everyone who replied to my original comment. I received my rejection from UofT  MN-NP  shortly thereafter and have since received rejection from the Part Time MN-NP at TMU.  I also had requested to be considered for the MN program if I wasn't accepted for the NP and so I guess I really did not stand out to them at all as I wasn't even offered a waitlist or a spot in the 1 year program.

I am still waiting to here from TMU regarding the full time MN-NP Program. Not going to lie, I am beyond disappointed and discouraged as I really had been convinced by multiple professionals (including those in academia/past admissions committees) that I had a solid app. I have 8 years of diverse experience including critical care AND primary care now, my academic referee is now the Dean of my alma matter Nursing school and my professional references were solid. Hope TMU sends me their final verdict soon as its almost June ........................

Sending a huge congratulations to all those who received their acceptances and are starting school in the Fall! All my best wishes ❤️

To everyone in a similar boat as me, it sucks but there is always a lesson to be learned and hopefully the lesson will reveal itself sooner rather than later lmao

I'm sorry to hear about TMU and U of T! When one door closes another one opens! Everything happens for a reason and I know it may not seem like it right now

Is anyone else having trouble logging into their TMU service hub?

I'm also so very surprised and I'm so sorry to hear this 😞

My experience is similar to yours, with a  diverse acute experience including critical care. Although my references were not as strong as yours which I think will be my downfall for my u of t NP application. I also applied late right before the deadline and I'm still waiting to hear back. I guess I won't keep my hopes too high

Thank you for sharing your journey so openly. I can only imagine how hard this must feel after all the effort you put in—and it's clear you have an incredible background and passion for the profession. The admissions process can be so unpredictable and disheartening, but your resilience really shines through. I'm rooting for you and truly hope TMU comes through with good news. And if not, I have no doubt you'll find another path forward—you clearly have so much to offer. Wishing you strength and clarity in whatever comes next.

Thank you for sharing. I'm sorry to hear this, your application sounds so strong & pretty similar to mine. I applied Apr 01 and still waiting for a response... I check the UofT website 10x per day.

Keep your head up & stay positive.. Like others have said, you clearly have an impressive & extensive resume. I'm also hoping TMU will give you acceptance to their FT program 🙏

I can only imagine how stressful this must've been. The universe has a funny way of guiding us to the right places at the right time. I hope the best for you and hoping you get into TMU as everyone has said, you do have a very strong application.

Im hoping we all hear back with good news by the end of this week and will pray for us all to get in! Good luck to you all!!

Does anyone know where I can see the application status of my Uof T application? I keep logging into acorn but not sure where I can see any status updates.
