Anyone applying to NP school in Ontario for the year 2025?

Would love to have a discussion started for acceptances, etc.

Just recieved rejection letter from Lakehead university.🥲🥲 That was my last resort.

I'm so sad and wondering if it will make any difference to even reapply next year. I feel like I gave it my all.

Anyways, goodluck to anyone who is still waiting and congrats to people who got accepted. I hope you make terrific NPs!🥰

Sorry to hear. I would reapply next year! I got rejected in 2022 and got in this year. For me the issue was my job was too admin heavy, and my statement of interest did not align with the experience I already had. Take this time to really hone in on what you want to do and ensure your experience matches up!

I was just waitlisted for Msc-NP french stream full time at Uottawa, any one else hear from Uottawa?

my application for the full time english stream still says under eval

Oh then I'm most likely heading towards a decline for the english stream, thanks for letting me know! Its frustrating that we don't know our position on the waiting list

Did you ask to also be considered for part time? IDK if that was also taken into consideration

Just heard back from u Ottawa NP accepted to the part time program. I'll accept and hope I can switch to a full time course load at some point.

I genuinely wonder how many more applicants the schools got this year

Did anyone hear back from Windsor or Queens?

Congrats! 🙂 Is this for the NP only diploma or Msc-NP?

@Ari D,

NP only part time

This is 3 years. I applied to Athabasca and got in too but that's also not full time.

I'm just going to be grateful and go with u Ottawa.

@NP2026

Same, I got into Uottawa part-time 3 years. I'm still waiting for UofT to make my final decision. I'm grateful I got in, but 3 years seems so long for a diploma program...

@Nurse0496,

I agree but I am hoping I can switch. Do you know if that's possible?

Hello everyone, has anyone who applied to the MN-NP Program at U of T just after the Jan 15th early deadline heard back yet? I applied Jan 16th (an issue occurred which made it impossible for me to make the Jan 15th deadline). I haven't heard anything and my application on the U of T portal still just states "submitted".
Starting to feel very discouraged 🫤
