Anyone applying to NP school in Ontario for the year 2025?

Would love to have a discussion started for acceptances, etc.

I applied for the MN- PHCNP at Western and I got an email saying due to the volume of applications received this year they are experiencing a delay in returning decisions

Oh wow! Yeah I bet, I think all schools had an insane amount of applicants with amazing stats!

I got that email too! does that mean people have received acceptances?

Sounds like it! The portal might take some time to update and reflect the change. Fingers crossed!

I feel like my GPA is on the lower end. does anyone know if there's any way to "boost" our gpas (like taking extra courses etc.)? I don't think that's a thing but just wanted to hear your guys opinion.

thanks for the update im on the same boat! I've applied for post masters. seems like its taking forever LOL

Also in the same boat, no updates on my applications. Hoping to hear back soon! This waiting game is really draining and time consuming LOL

I went to western for the MN program and during that round of applications they kindly provided updates about the progress of their office... but week after week they kept delaying it. Hoping it's not the same with this time!

I haven't heard back either. Puts some people in a tough decision if they were waiting on that before accepting the offer on Monday..

6pm in Ontario now so guessing we'll have to wait until next week to hear anything 😞

I just wish I could find out if it's a hard no already—so I can mentally move on and stop overthinking it! LOL

Yah same ;/ my anxiety has been so bad with the uncertainty 😩

Hello everyone,

I applied MN/NP stream at York and of course it has been "No decsion yet" since day one. I have a previous master degree (not health science related), so applied combined MN NP Program. Today I realized they added NP diploma to my application, as if I applied for that, which I didn't! I found this very strange. Any thought on that? Does this happen to anyone else?

Ohhh quite possibly! They must have accepted your non-health related masters, thus you're a candidate for a post-masters NP? Maybe, I hope so!
