Anyone applying to NP school in Ontario for the year 2025?

Would love to have a discussion started for acceptances, etc.

Those who are still waiting for LU - what does the status of your application say in the portal (found under the program you applied to in the top left box)

Is this for Lakehead U or Laurentian U? If Lakehead, mine says "Under Department Review". I wonder how that differs from "Sent to Department" 😏

Wow! I wonder if this is true for all the schools!

Hope you hear back soon 🙂

Fingers crossed. Applied to 3 schools and haven't recieved any offers.

Has anyone heard back from Queen's University for their NP Program?

can we safely assume at this point that if we haven't heard back from UofT yet that we've been rejected?

Sorry I meant Laurentian! I think it might depend on the school re. what the status of your application says

Mine says sent to department as well. I don't think it will change until the admission department gets a decision. Fingers crossed it's soon. I heard 4-8 weeks from admissions

Keep your hopes up as they will continue offer of admission until spaces are full as people withdraw due to accepting their preferred choices. If a candidate does not meet their minimum requirements they are immediately rejected. Some schools will notify students about wait lists and send notification when the program is closed with an official notification email/letter. A lot of us are waiting to see what funding they are providing.

A friend got admitted few days ago.

I emailed them to ask when they will be sending out more offers, and this was the response I received: "The majority of the first round of offers have gone out this week, so if you didn't receive one, you're currently on a waitlist. You should get an update in the next 3-4 weeks as to whether you receive an offer or not."😐

good to know they have actually sent out the first round. they should've at least update our status with "waitlisted"... Thank you for letting me know, I hope you get yours soon!

When is the deadline for people to accept their offer from York and Ryerson ?

York deadline was March 27th so I assume some more acceptances will come out this week for others!

Has your status changed yet for York?

NO! still "no decision yet". Honestly at this point I would be super happy if I see "rejection" because I know at least somebody saw my application 😅
