Anyone applying to NP school in Ontario for the year 2025?
Would love to have a discussion started for acceptances, etc.

Just trying to gauge what people have heard regarding both programs and if uoft is worth such a hefty cost.
I'm in the exact same dilemma! Such a hard decision to make.

I think it all depends on what you want out of the program! I don't know much about York, but I have a friend in the program who loves it, and personally, I'm a York alum. I enjoyed my time there and the faculty are lovely. I chose to go to UofT for their resources and emphasis on research. If you're looking to pursue a master's or continue with research alongside clinical work in the future, then UofT might be a good fit for you! Additionally, UofT offers a single-stream program (I'm unsure about what York offers), which provides more versatility moving forward into your clinical career. If your goal is to move into a career with a strong emphasis on clinical work. I don't think it will matter where you go and the financial support is huge for your own personal security and sanity LOL.

Thank you so much for this insight! I think I am still leaning towards UofT. Does anyone know the pay difference between UofT TA's and YorkU TA's?
Also- I heard York limits who they allow to become TA's. My friend said they admitted him but said he couldn't apply to be a TA, where my acceptance letter says that I can be a TA. I was shocked as I didn't know this was even a thing, I just assumed everyone had the opportunity. Anyone know if UofT does this to their students as well?

Congratulations 🥳 did you apply to U of T as well? If so have you heard back, are you going to accept Queens?

I am in the same situation. I'm really torn on which school to choose
I interviewed at the beginning of the month, I haven't heard back either
