I'd like to seek any input regarding the onp training for foreign educated nurses. I have read at the nmc website that the training for nurses from USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand is only 20 days, however those from other countries is 3-6 months. I'm currently working as an LVN in USA but with a Bachelor's Degree from another country. Would my training be 3-6 months long? My experience is about 7 years already. Let me know if you can share any input on this matter. Thanks in advance.

Depends whether NMC accepts your LVN experience which they may not seeing as they do not accept LVN training

Where did you complete your initial nursing training? Was it a RN program? That is what the NMC will base it on. Have you worked as a RN outside of the USA for at least a year?
As Silverdragon noted, they don't accept LPN/LVN experience and you'll need at least 1 year's experience as a RN.
