Online vs In Class NP Programs like Samford

I’m looking at NP schools and the hospital I work at will not hire NP from online schools. Is Samford University FNP/ENP Program considered online? They have week long intensives at the school each semester. Another school I looked at that’s local (Florida Southern College FNP) meets only once a week for a few hours.
