do some of the online practice ques wind up on TEAV V?

Published

I bought the ATI study guide package that comes with the book and two online practice tests. A lot of the stuff that you all are saying actually was on my practice test. I was wondering if some of the question will end up on the actual TEAS V? I have been reviewing the questions just in case. The rationales for the correct & wrong answer really help me with studying

Yes, I am glad to tell you that it actually does. Not in so much detail as the online practice tests, but the concepts are the same.

Ok, this is good to hear. You mean the questions are worded differently on the actual TEAS V?

Yes..... when I took the TEAS, I had some questions that were worded the same but had different numbers. I would recommend using the study guide and taking the online practice tests that you ordered. Another thing that I noticed was that for some questions it wasn't about finding the right answer, it was about eliminating the wrong answers, especially in the math section.

What is the TEAS website?

You have to purchase the online test from the ati website. I posted two of them in another thread.

I actually wrote down all the Science questions (except for the ones with a graph) and have been studying them for future reference

Yes, they were worded differently. But I felt more comfortable taking the test because I couldn't say that I was surprised by anything... except maybe 2 or 3 science questions. The only part I was freaking about was the math, only because I'm weak in that area. But it ended up being my second highest score. I got a 89% in the science. I used the online practice questions. I would write down/type the many if not all the questions asked in those tests because you can only take it twice. Then, I would look for patterns in what they were asking (like mitosis, punnett squares, anatomy functions, etc..,) and just study.

Good luck.

There will be a good number of the same concepts that are on the practice tests. Never the same exact question, but if you can do well on those, you will likely do even better on the real test. That's what happened to me :)
