Really trying to weigh my options for which program to attend. I have looked in to the following:

Vanderbilt-expensive

USA-unorganized with bad reviews

Stony Brook

EKU-bad reviews

Drexel-expensive

Are there any others I should be considering?

Also, is accreditation a major factor as it was when going for the BSN?

Hi there,

I am currently in the general entry MSN program at Rush University (Chicago) and plan to go on to eventually complete their PMHNP program. It is ranked #2 in the country for PMHNP programs, and it is primarily online. I have taken a psych class for my program online, and there were PMHNP students in the class as well (from all over!). It sounds like you currently have your BSN, and I know there is a bridge program from BSN to DNP (PMHNP). I would check out their website as it has lots of good info. I hope this helps!
