Is studying for an RN degree via an online program a negative? I'm also curious about how online programs go about arranging internships for their students.

I would say that it depends on the program. The one that I will be doing has a traditional program so they will set up the clinicals just as they do for their tradtional students.
I see online RN programs as a positive but that's why I'm going through it. It allows people to take the classes that wouldn't otherwise be able to go through the program.

For me it would definatly be a no-go. I expect the program to be hard, trying to learn it without any classroom ftf or classmates would probably be impossible for me. Having to post and then wait for an answer to something I needed to know right then? Not going to happen. For me, it's going to be serious business, and I intend to take advantage of every avenue available to me at the school.
If you think it will work for you then go for it. Is there an option to change if it turns out to not be what you expected?

To be honest I don't know about any options out after I start other than just dropping out and loosing all the time and money invested. But online schooling is really my only feasible option. I can't see myself spending two years commuting back and forth between work and school.
If it is your only feasible option and you believe you can do it, then do it. You should visit the distance learning forum.
Thanks. I didn't even know there was a distance learning forum.
