I just finished my LPN program and want to continue on to complete an RN program, but am having difficulties finding one in my area. So I am considering an online program...? Any recommendations? Any good/bad experiences?

The hospital that I retired from is generally hiring BSNs only unless that person has experience. They will not accept an online BSNs. I suggest you go through your local community college even if you have to commute vs go the online route.

There are lots of threads on the board from those who were attending U. of Phoenix or ISU. The thing is, I never really see anybody post about finishing the program, passing the NCLEX & then sucessfully finding employment. Not trying to be snarky or anything. I'm somewhat looking into ISU as well as a back up plan if I do not get into my school's LPN to BSN program, but I want to see the results, which isn't something I've discovered on this forum. :uhoh21:
