Online course in Human Growth and Development

Hello,

I recently got accepted to nursing school and I start on June 1. Before I can enroll, I need to take a human growth and development course online. I need to do this through an accredited program. Any suggestions?

Where do you live? I just took this class from Rio Salado Community College in Tempe, AZ. Completely online. Midterm and Final are open book. You can work at your own pace and I finished it in 6 weeks. Could have done it quicker but didn't see the point.

Maybe your credits don't transfer to where you want to attend? It is accredited.

Care to share your experiences with the LSU human development course? I love how much information they give you on the fact sheet. I just want to make sure the coursework isn't incredibly time-consuming and the tests not too difficult. This is for a prereq that I need to fulfill on top of my full course load.

Hi purple scrubs!

I realize this post is pretty old, but I'm currently looking into the online developmental psych at LSU and would love to hear what you thought about the course itself. Easy? Hard? Time consuming? Doable in just a few weeks?

Thank you! I'm taking a bunch of sciences courses with labs and would like to do this class to, but I don't want to be bogged down by too much. Thank you!!

Something to consider to pass a prereq quickly is to CLEP it. I have already clepped two classes and I am not a genius. If I can do it anyone can. I studied for 3 weeks and took the test. You will not get anything toward your GPA but you will get the class credits. Its worth it and it only costs about a hundred dollars. Human growth and development is my next CLEP. I've already passed Intro to Psychology and Sociology. Just a suggestion for those in a time crunch.
