Hi!
I am wanting to retake mostly physiology because my grade is low. But considering taking anatomy and physiology because they are nearing expiration for some direct entry masters and ABSN programs. Does anyone have any reviews of online classes they took? Or have any helpful info? Taking online due to my workload.
I know of: Hopkins, UNE, Berkeley, Portage, and Westcott. I am primarily considering Portage and Westcott because they are half the price (for both a and p) of the other institutions. However, I loved anatomy and physiology in undergrad! I would love to know if you actually learned and had a good experience. I would love to know what the labs are like—virtual dissection, videos of someone else, interactive, or plain boring.
TIA!

Hey! I'm a retake student (Withdrew once from AP1) , in class classrooms were pretty much immersed with drama and a teacher who played favorites (my first try) so I couldn't concentrate but after covid our class started offering AP online and it was a tremendous help for me mental health wise and education wise. Our professor was nice and our lessons were actually uploaded but she answered whenever needed (my professor actually answered to me in 2 in the morning with a question I had) , we literally just had to read the PowerPoints that she gave us ( It was the literal test!) , this was for lecture , for lab my professor gave lab PowerPoints but we mostly went by the manual (in my class we got like 10 to 15 minutes for a quiz and 1 hr 20 minutes for a test)... she took back points because it glitched from time to time. Personally with the help of her weekly study sessions and online lab it helped tremendously. One thing though is because 13 people in our class cheated (o we actually had to go on this browser called lockdown browser , it upset some of the students. (the midterm average was like a 69).
Overall I learned more from her although the material was familiar. I got an A in the class. The thing is just because it's online just don't take advantage of it because it's a great opportunity! Just be sure to invest in an atlas and prep ahead (it makes things so much easier!) AnatomyGMC and WyzSci are amazing!
@TheNursingdoll is course from somewhere available to other students? Like Hopkins is accessible to others outside of those regularly attending
