I think you'll get in. Some of those 45 people probably applied and got into other schools. They may choose to go there. Some people will have last minute financial issues. It's not uncommon for someone to apply to school, then last minute realize they don't have enough aid. There are tons of reasons, but I doubt that all 45 of those people will accept admission. No worries! I just had orientation the other day and two people didn't show up, so 2 alternates got in that day.
I agree with the poster above. This past April I was alternate #9 for the BSN and was kind of bummed. May 23, the last day of finals I get a call from the nursing dept informing me a spot had become available and I was next in line, so I'll be starting next month. Only 30 spots. Students apply to more than one school so people are bound to decline and go somewhere else. Don't lose hope and best of luck to you!!!

I know it's impossible to predict but from your guy's experience what do you think?
I'm on the standby list and position #2. They accepted 45 students..
