On call rates fo home infusion

Published

Hi all! I'm a home infusion nurse in New Jersey. My co-workers and I are trying to find out if our on call rate is norm. for the area. If anyone wouldn't mind sharing, we're looking to fine out on much you are paid for each visit on call and the rate you get paid for "holding the beeper. We are all salaried employees but we cover MANY counties, so it would probably be interesting to know how far your area encompasses too! Thanks a head of time!

im also trying to find out what the on call pay is except i would be on call for hospice calls, if anyone has any info thanks

M - F $20/night to carry beeper, $33 for visit add $5 if it is an IV visit

S and S $50/night

this is for skilled and hospice

Specializes in critical care-stepdown, homecare, infusi.

I work for an agency which focuses on home infusions. I am paid $55 a visit. to carry the beeper (which I have not done) I believe is $36 unless you get a call then it's more. I will find out for sure. I would like to know if anyone is an independent contractor with an infusion company if you wouldn't mind sharing your rates? If there is any per diem RN with an infusion company, if you would mind sharing your rates? I'm trying to determine if it is profitable to before an independent contractor/per diem with a company or stay with this agency?
