The contents of a patient exploded? That sound's really bad for the patient...?

It wasn't MRSA, silly. Just a regular old spider bite!

Your going to need to be more specific!

Hppy

A patients contents exploded over you?

How long have you worked in a hospital? Most of us who've worked in hospitals are likely MRSA positive anyway even if we are scrupulous on infection control.... I am also awaiting a @Davey Do special here.

This is true poetry.

It's all about the moment... and reminds me of that sweet old John Denver song, "Today, while the blossoms still cling to the vine, I'll taste your strawberries, I'll drink your sweet wine."

I love it that I can summon you now, Davey.

@JenMH88RN - while what happened to you is hideous and gross...the best way I know to deal with the hideous and gross in my world is to have my freak out (privately) and then laugh. Sometimes I don't even freak out and just go straight to the laughing. I always say that it's the patients where we DON'T know their status (not the ones helpfully labeled) that we should approach with a heavy dose of caution.

I love it also, ruby jane. How do you do that ? I've tried putting the "at sign" (@) in front of a user name to no avail.

Remember this thread?

You should have at least used the poo emoji; ??? unless of course it WAS the whole patient that exploded.
