No I haven't heard anything yet. I asked them to let me know once they received my payment, so they notified me that they had received it and that's all I've heard.

Hey guys! Just wondering, out of those of you that were accepted, what types of experience do you have? I have 5 years in emergency room and I am CEN Certified. I know that they are more likely to accept the ICU and CCRN candidates, just wanted to see if anyone accepted had only ER experience?

Hey Cajun lady,

Unfortunately ICU experience is required. The schools that accept ER experience are few in number and Fran U (formerly OLOL) isn't one of them. The ER experience and CEN will definitely look good on an application but you need at least 1 year in ICU. And actually as long as you have at least 1 year by the time you would potentially start school, you could apply with less than 1 year given your time in the ER. Hope this helps!
