Hello everyone~

I am interested in the ABSN program and I from South florida and have a 2.9 BS and 3.3 MBA. Do you think I can qualify for this program? Also I how is the program like? Is it worth going it?

How is living in OKC like? I have never been there and would like more information on it as well. If I were to move it would just be for me and my husband.

If someone can provide me with some guidance I would highly appreciate it.

Hey so I don't know if you are still looking for info on OCU KSN accelerated bachelors program.

I believe you need a 3.0gpa cumulative so I am not sure how they would treat your gpa's I would assume since you have a 3.3 MBA you would probably be okay. Do you have the required courses done?

Living in OKC is kinda shifty, there are some really good areas and there are some really bad areas of the city, its rather spotty. Do NOT sign a lease for an apartment by what you see on the internet...repeat DO NOT sign unti you see it. Some of the websites are very "crafty" to say the least. If you can afford to live in Norman or Piedmont I would do that. Some guys in my class got information from the school on each other and shared a place for the 16 months and were able to get a pretty decent house to live in.

I just graduated from bachelors to bsn program and felt it was definately worth the money if you know you are going to be able to pay it back. Especially if you are going to stay in Oklahoma for at least two years afterward there are quite a few scholarship dollars out there for you. If this is the case you should also check into the hospitals to see what they will offer you. This past year Integris was kinda crappy to their "nurse residents to be" that didn't already work there but if you tech there they are decent to you. I don't work there and actually moved from OK.

Does OCU- KSN has any entrance test? I am planning to apply Spring 2011. Could you please let me know about their program? I have already completed all of my pre-reqs.

No they do not have an entrance exam, as long as you meet all the pre-reqs with the needed GPA you are accepted in. The way they tell if you meet the pre-reqs is that Miss Clarey will request an unofficial transcript first and then sometimes they need a syllabus to see if the classes are compatible with what OCU offers.

Need any other info just let me know, what I don't I just graduated this May 2010 from the accelerated program.

Hi Badger,

How did you like the instructors and were you able to work at all during the program? I start KSN next mth in the traditional section.
