Hola, hola. :typing
After a few weeks of brainstorming and looking through chem books, I think I have decided to take AP before chem. It doesn't seem like too much trouble.
So... here is a rough schedule. Any opinions MUY WELCOME
Summer 09 (12 weeks)
English
Psych for effectiveness
Speech
College alg (6 weeks) (Is this kill? Let me know... lol)
Fall 09
AP1/Lab
Ethics
Spring 10
Chemistry 1/Lab
AP2/Lab (Is THIS kill!!??? I heard AP2 is easier than AP1??)
You guys are going to get tired of me real fast, hahaha. I am so unsure. I already started my pre-reqs last week, and I am not having a hard time with organization. So yea, if any one can clear up for me whether or not AP1 is harder than AP2, it would be greatly appreciated. I bought an AP workbook thingy to start getting used to terms and stuff and picked up some chem books at the library. I didn't have a hard time with the atoms and the stuff. I wanted to take a math course asap because I don't want to forget everything I learned, which is why I am considering taking this algebra course for the 6 week term, but I don't know if that will kill me, lol. The professor is supposedly easy. I am good at math. If I do NOT take math this term then it would all look something like this:
College Alg
AP2/Lab
Oh, and should I take Microbiology as a pre-req or in NS? Any bad experiences with either? Si? No? The only bad thing I see is I might have to take longer, or stuff it in somewhere, but I am kind of scared of over-load.. lol. No se. Maybe I just need to worry less. Hehe.
thankssss:heartbeat

I think the answer to your questions lie in how good you are at math. College algebra during the summer with 3 other classes will kill you if you aren't strong in math. If you are very strong in math, it may be a good balance for the other 3 classes you're taking. I love math, and having one class with math in it sort of gives me a break from all that theory.
Remember that Chemistry is mostly math, also! I took Microbiology and Chemistry I together last semester. It was a big load, but very doable for me because, again, I love math, and Chem I was a big stress reliever for me. I personally think Microbiology is a good one to take before you get to NS if possible. I think it really is a cornerstone class for nursing school, since fighting infection and understanding all the measures to prevent infection are such a big part of nursing care.
I do the same thing with my schedules, and I alter them accordingly as I go. Good luck with everything, I hope this helped!
Great, thanks! I appreciate your comment. I am good at math and I also really love it. I was in a private tutoring class for a few months and I began to truly appreciate it more and more. :) I am happy I am not the only one that tries to organize this early, hehehe.
