Hello,
I am currently an Albertan resident rounding up my bachelors of science in nursing degree this year in Quebec. I am having a hard time deciding whether or not to write the OIIQ exam or the NCLEX. I have come to find out that if I pass my OIIQ exam I will not be elligible to write the NCLEX with most nursing boards in other provinces. But will be able to transfer my Quebec license to those respective provinces should I wish, however the reverse cannot be done with Quebec
Has anyone written both of these exams? Which would you say is harder?
Which would you advice I write instead?

It's true that Québec will not accept the NCLEX, but the Rest of Canada will accept the OIIQ exam results. I think you should be guided by where you plan to live and work. Will you stay in Québec after graduation, even for a short time? Have you established ties to people or places there? Then write the OIIQ exam. Do you plan to live and work anywhere else in Canada in the foreseeable future, but NOT in Québec? Then write the NCLEX.
