I'm in my first year at an OCNE school. They tell us we are already eligible for OHSUs BSN transfer program which is apparently all online. Has anyone done this? What is it like? How hard is it to accomplish when you are working as a new grad nurse? What does it actually end up costing you?

If you choose to continue to OHSU for your BSN you will go straight through without getting your lisence untill you are done. You will need to decide by the end of your first year if you are going to move on. I believe OHSU is around $350 a credit, but it wouldn't hurt to double check! Congrats and good luck!

I'm in MHCC's program now and I was told that we could sit for the NCLEX and then continue on to OHSU. Are you sure that your information is correct? If it is I need to do some quick thinking. LOL!!
Each one of you is correct. We can stop after the second term of year 2 and go on to OHSU without getting our RN OR We can finish the CC program (take the NCLEX), and take that beginning term in the summer and take 3 more terms the next year to finish the BSN. So 4 terms to the BSN. SO----- anyone done this yet? No one from my school has skipped the NCLEX and gotten the BSN instead of an ADN and I don't plan to, but I'm interested in what you have done.
Sorry! Let me correct that. You can take your NCLEX, but then you have to apply and be accepted to OHSU to complete your BSN. You are only automatically in if you continue straight through. Good luck!!!

Actually, you are automatically accepted into OHSU from an OCNE school even IF you opt to take the NCLEX first. I know, because that is the route I am taking. I am set to graduate this June, and I have already done all my paperwork and application for OHSU. Automatic acceptance.
Though, I am not starting this summer, I am starting in the fall.
Yes Jaded Beauty! Thanks for confirming that. I just confirmed it at my school today as well. I was worried for a minute there. :)
I'm so sorry if I passed on bad info! It's been a year since I talked to anyone, but I had been told that by three different people at MHCC (one was the gal that did admissions for the nursing program). Mt. Hood wasn't my first choice because of that, but it is the closest to me by far. I will double check with them again. That would be great if they do allow you to take the NCLEX and still move on! I'm excited to call them! So sorry again for the bad info!!!
