OHSU MSN Applicants 2015

Hi everyone, I applied for the MSN program for FPMHNP (traditional entry). Has anyone heard back about an interview yet?

I have to send a deposit to my backup school by tomorrow....this is cutting it too close for comfort!

Tell me about it! I have to register for classes for my backup school! Already had to put deposit down. Way too close for comfort.

I realize you guys are totally anxious, I was too before getting a response and now I feel that way about getting financial aid info. Psychnphopeful - what makes you choose OHSU over BC? Saw your post on the Yale thread. I am somewhat torn right now between OHSU and UT-Austin. OHSU seems more therapy oriented and the state has a better practice environment, but Austin is so much sunnier. Any thoughts on why OHSU is the top choice for you guys?

@hakhama: have you heard back from OHSU? I didn'th think decisions were out yet.

Also, OHSU is top choice for me because of it's reputation, location, and campus. When I visited, I felt really comfortable, and sort of let myself get lost walking on the skybridges. It was beautiful and I could see myself there. I went to undergrad in the Pacific Northwest, and I have been trying to get back there ever since!

Thanks for the reply :) I applied for the traditional MSN, yeah, so our timeline is different at each school than the direct entry. I suppose visiting will really help me make a decision.

Yes, visiting and seeing how you feel when you walk on campus is the only way for you to know for sure which is the best fit for you.
