OHSU Accelerated BSN Portland Program 2017-18

Hey! Thought about starting a thread for those who applied/ got an interview for OHSU's ABSN Portland program. Feel free to ask questions or just tell us who you are. Great way to get connected!

I received a phone call yesterday offering me admission into the Ashland ACBAC - FNP program! I I am on the waitlist for the PDX one but she said it was full so they're offering open spots at other campuses to PDX waitlisters. I'm firmly planted in PDX so will likely turn this down.

She also mentioned they haven't notified any waitlisted people yet but she told me I would be offered a spot for the PDX ACBAC summer cohort. I'm actually sitting here waiting on a firm email/phone. All so I can finally make a decision!

Congrats asflint! Did they say when they would be sending out the actual offers? This waiting is killing me as I am listed as highly likely as well! Thanks for the update:)

I just got the call from OHSU this afternoon. I was moved from the "highly likely" alternate list into the ABSN summer cohort! Best of luck to those still waiting the hear back.

I put a preference for fall start on my app, but at this point I would accept any spot offered haha! What about you @bobbynurse?

Fingers crossed that maybe they haven't gotten to fall openings yet.. hoping we both get a spot!

For those still on the wait list, this is what admissions told me today "The Fall cohort is currently full and the Summer cohort has two offers out. Even if we have both cohorts full applicants can decide to withdraw later. However, if this were to happen we would contact the next student on the list."

Not sure of the chances of the rest of us getting a spot :(

Hi All, I am probably one of those 2 spots they're still waiting on for summer cohort. I haven't received my offer letter though I spoke with David and he said it was in the mail. I will be accepting the spot. I hope there is more waitlist movement for you guys!!
