Thanks for pointing to me to this thread, sspears!
I posted this in just the ABSN thread, but I will post it here as well - hopefully it will get some more conversation going. The OHSU threads are sporifice this year!
My stats are: double major in Political Science and Classics from Berkeley. UG GPA was 3.14, Prereq GPA is 4.0. I have been working in Silicon Valley for the last 6 years, have a fair amount of hospital volunteering under my belt. My fiancee and I plan on moving to Portland in Mid-May. In my free time, I love to travel and entertain (cook, eat, generally be merry).
Were all of the other specialties as comeptitive as FNP? They only took 6 for Portland!
Looking forward to meeting everyone!
Hi there. I was just found out Wednesday that I have been accepted into the Portland summer 2016 cohort for the ABSN only program. I am curious who else might have been accepted into the program. I interviewed in the 8AM time slot, March 3rd.
About me: I have a Natural Resources background and a B.S. in Archaeology. I live out of state.
Hi, I know this thread is pretty dead but I'm a prospective student and had a question about the application process. I applied to the ABSN-MSN FNP program in October (deadline is in January) and I received an email this morning with a pin number to sign into my student information system, the email was also marked urgent. I was wondering if anyone received this email with their SIS login information before hearing anything else from OHSU?

Hello! I didn't see a thread for the upcoming AccBacc cohort yet (if there is one, please point me in the right direction!), so figured I would start one and see if there's anyone else out there lurking like I am! As the other AccBacc applicants are interviewing, please feel free to drop in- I'm looking forward to meeting some future classmates!
About me: B.S. in Psych and Communication, M.A. in Counseling Psych, full time mom to two little girls who decided this past fall to pursue the PMHNP/DNP dream that started when I was finishing my internship during grad school. To say that I'm excited to get started this summer would be an understatement!
