What is the status of becoming an RNFA in the State of Ohio?
I was told that it changed, but I've not really seen anything like from the OBN about it.
I suspect it's there, but I'm not computer savy enough to find the info!:wink2:
Any way, recently my boss has been throwing out hints that maybe I should look into it. After 30 years at the bedside, most of that in OR, I have to say it's tempting.
Our small hospital has only a few general surgeons, GYN and ortho, none have their own scrub/RNFA.
I'm thinking our hospital may support me becoming an RNFA, relieving me of some daily bedside duties, but think that my call time could increase big time!!
Guess I need more info.
Any suggestions???
Thanks Mike

I'm in northern Virginia. If I wasn't going into the CRNA program, I would definitely do RNFA. It pays very well here. My hospital's program is a 12 month fellowship after having two years in the OR.
