offered and accepted Triage and L&D position

Published

Hello,

I am (knocking on wood) 9 weeks away from graduation.

I applied interviewed and so on and yesterday was offered, and accepted, a position at that same facility where I had my recent OB clinicals.

VERY HAPPY about this. ;)

I also have a recent commission in the Army Nurse corps on Inactive Ready Reserve while re-boarding.

My short term goals and long term goals are a bit jumbled right now but I plan to make them work out. My immediate goals are to not job jump and to stick around long enough to both learn and to contribute with my first employer before I do go active duty in the Military.

Cool, to put it mildly,

Hi Gen,

... If you don't mind sharing where you got hired, I am also looking for a job in the area and am looking for midwife/patient friendly hospitals...

...Congrats on your success:) And on the commission. BTW, I am also in the Army if there's ever anything I can help you with. I am also considering the reassessment thing since I am currently not an AN. Good luck with that.

Hello,

I am replying here to update, (CEG pm'd me her hospital preferences). CEG is indeed looking into the hospital that I just got hired at and I really am thrilled about how midwife and family physician friendly they are.

Good luck!

Heya, I didn't notice that you said you were Army too! I missed that. Pretty neat. I am trying to balance short, mid and long range plans together.

My fingers are crossed for you CEG,

Gen
