OCCC Traditional nursing program fall 16

I plan on applying for Oklahoma City Community College Traditional Nursing Program for the Fall 16' semester. I was wondering what everyone's preference points were to see if I got a shot! I guess it's only fair to say what I have, 15 out of the 24.

I plan on applying as well, but I fully understand that I'm a long shot. I currently have 14 points and a 3.49 GPA. I meet all of the requirements and have taken all of the necessary testing. I made a 77 on my TEAS with no prior college level science courses. I'm in A&P I and Chem right now, so I plan on taking it again right before the application deadline to see if I can bump my score up to a 79, for that extra preference point, totaling 15. If I finish up this semester with A's, I'll be up to 17 points. So, if I don't get accepted this time, I'll take the year to finish Micro and A&PII and I'm confident that I'd get in the following year. I've heard everything from a person with 9 points getting into the spring semester and a 13 got someone into the fall. However, I don't think you can really make any guesses on how this will turn out. There are always more applicants for the fall and you could be up against a bunch of 20's or several people with 12's. We shall see. Good luck!

From what I understand, as low as 12 points has gotten in for the last two semesters. You've got a good shot! If I pass the math test for points on Friday, I'll be applying with 17 points and a 3.49 GPA. It's so close!! Good luck.

I just applied for the traditional 2016 fall program and I only had 14 preference points and a 3.0 GPA. I have heard multiple points that were the cutoff but it all depends on who all is applying. I will have 17 preference points for the spring 2017 semester and know that my 14 points are borderline but I applied anyways! You never know!
