OCCC Fall 16 Nursing Program
I'm alternate #6. I knew it was a long shot because until this semester ended I only had 14 points (17 now!) but I'm not going to lose out hope. I have read and heard from several people that they end up taking several alternates per year. So, fingers crossed. Congratulations to those that got in!

OCCC Traditional nursing program fall 16
I plan on applying as well, but I fully understand that I'm a long shot. I currently have 14 points and a 3.49 GPA. I meet all of the requirements and have taken all of the necessary testing. I made a 77 on my TEAS with no prior college level science courses. I'm in A&P I and Chem right now, so I plan on taking it again right before the application deadline to see if I can bump my score up to a 79, for that extra preference point, totaling 15. If I finish up this semester with A's, I'll be up to 17 points. So, if I don't get accepted this time, I'll take the year to finish Micro and A&PII and I'm confident that I'd get in the following year. I've heard everything from a person with 9 points getting into the spring semester and a 13 got someone into the fall. However, I don't think you can really make any guesses on how this will turn out. There are always more applicants for the fall and you could be up against a bunch of 20's or several people with 12's. We shall see. Good luck!

OCCC Fall 16 Nursing Program
I plan on applying as well. I currently have 14 points. I already took my TEAS and made a 77, but I had not had any college level science courses. I'm enrolled in A&P I and Chem right now, so I think I'll try to take it again right before the deadline since I'll have more science knowledge. If I can bump it up to a 79, I can get the 4 point preference point max. As of now, I only have a 3.49 GPA but I meet all of the requirements and have taken all of the necessary testing. I'm going in as a long shot, because I know my points are low, so I won't be devastated if I don't make it this semester. When this semester is over, I'll be up to 17 points (as long as I continue on with these classes with an A). If I don't make it, I'll just finish up A&P II and Micro and be prepared to apply again!

Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC) Baccalaureate to Associate Degree Nurse Accelerated Pathway (BADNAP) 2016-2017
I'm applying for the traditional program....but in the last "nursing hopeful" meeting, Claire made it seem like everyone that applied to the Career Leader Pathway and the BADNAP got in, as long as they met all of the qualifications and turned in a complete application. Sorry I'm not more help.
