Hey everyone! Wondering who is applying to the Spring 2017 traditional RN program at OCCC? I am!
Also if you plan to purchase your nursing student Liability Insurance with a debit or credit card DON'T go to the bursar's office. Go online to the school website where you pay your tuition and you can pay it there. I found out today that the bursar does not take cards in person.
I heard that this evening program has an all day lab during the week. Have any of you heard that? I was under the impression that I would be able to keep my full-time, Monday through Friday, 8-4:30pm job as long as I secured evening/weekend clinicals.
I have not heard when the lab or clinicals will be. I would recommend when you take your shot records and all that stuff to the Division Office you ask how all that works. Or you can call them.

In case anyone else is wondering, I called and spoke to the director of the nursing program. She confirmed that there is a day-time all day lab throughout each semester. She said it is usually on Mondays during the first semester and it is 8am-5pm. The day of the week might change throughout the program... but it does take place during the day.
