I'm under the impression that it needs to have a lab.... I transfered mine from Baker and Macomb accepted it because it has the lab. You may want to speak to another (hopefully more helpful) counselor instead of anyone on here, just so you know that you're getting the absolute truth, instead of personal experiences or hearsay. But, I would think since OCC is a CC just like Macomb, that you would be alright?
I agree that you should go and talk to Macomb again but I am pretty sure that they aren't going to let you transfer it in without a lab. I had a co worker in a similar situation last year. They will most likely have you either take it there or take it where you are with a lab if it is offered that way. Good luck :)
Jaaaey, yes, you are correct. I have to take BIO 2710 at OCC if I want it to transfer to Macomb, since I plan on applying to both OCC and MCC. Bummer because I hear it's a pretty tough class! Other than that, I am pretty sure that is the only 'discrepancy' on the OCC pre-reqs that transfer--all the rest should be OK! :-)

I would like to know how the transfer credits work from OCC to Macomb.
I went to talk to counselor at Macomb but didn't get a lot of information.
I wonder if Micro that is required for Macomb is equivalent to OCC Micro without lab?
I want to transfer all the required credit from OCC to Macomb.
Thanks in advance.
