Hey all, I made a new account because I couldn't remember my login info from years ago. I am a nurse in recovery. I signed a 3 year monitoring agreement here in Indiana which has a 6 month narcotic restriction. I'm having zero luck getting a job. They like the BSN, they like the 6 years of experience, and then they find out about the ISNAP contract and they thank me and tell me they'll be in touch. Is there any advice out there? I've been looking actively for 8 weeks and have landed 4 interviews and no job offers. Thanks so much in advance!

Dont lose hope and keep applying. Some nurses on here have had to perservere through 9+ months of looking. Hang in there, the job will come
Thank you...yeah it's definitely a rough process. I got a call for an interview today. We'll see how it goes!

Do you have a job in the meantime. I have two years before I can even grace the BON with my presence for reinstatement and I have what I call a recovery job as a garage cashier. It keeps me busy and out of my head most days. I just wanted to share that and hope you do get a job in nursing soon, but in the meantime maybe there is something out there to occupy your time with. Good luck.
