how to obtain an authentication of nursing certificate

hello can any one help i need an authentication of nursing certificate, registered nurse given to me by the east Suffolk health authority in 1987. my old nursing school no longer exists!! and the uni who have taken over did not issue the certificate so can't do the authentication, however they sent all my nursing education records to Quebec where I am moving too, working in France as nurse for last 12 years. nmc are of no help as don't do this.. can any one help...

Apart from NMC I don't think anyone can do this if your nursing school is no more. Know what you mean as I qualified back in 88. NMC should be able to verify that your training met UK standards and verify that you have been registered with them as a nurse
