I have my RNC in Ob.Is there a separate Certification for Advanced Fetal Monitoring? I know I have taken several classes but i never was ceritifide.

Any help with this question???

NCC has the certificate of added qualification EFM. It is comprehensive and really delves into physiology (which I love). Why not????

Have you taken the EFM certification? Would you do it again?. Does Lisa Miller do a class for this exam>

I just took the exam in Sept and took Lisa Miller's review course. The test is challenging and I passed. I think the review is excellent, even if you aren't taking the exam. I just got a flyer from Michelle Murray and she is teaching a review course also. I would love to go and see what she teaches.

I think anyone who reads a monitor should have this credential. I am working to have all of my L&D staff take the exam. It can only help you. It is pricey, but worth it, at least to me. Would take it again, definitely.
