Hi,
Has anyone who is attending OBLC-RC in Oct. 31-Nov 25th received their "packet" explaining travel, lodging, etc. from HRC? If you did, when did your unit book you into the class, did it take long to hear from HRC? I am just wondering if my "paperwork" is lost......

i leave for oblc in october, but have yet to receive my packet.
Hi GnPhD,
I am now in a whirlwind of emails concerning my enrollment in Oct OBLC. Apparently, everytime my unit administrator enrolls me, the system "disallows" my application.
So, there are 2 HRC, US AR Armedcom and my LTC working on this.
I am pretty sure the kinks will be worked out---hopefully before Oct!!
At least I can see my enrollment on the ATTRS website now!
cb :)
p.s. are you getting your PhD in nursing? I am working on mine in International (public) Health. I was recently told, the AR would pay tutition towards NON-nursing degrees (if it is your first, i.e. first masters, first phd, etc.) I wonder if you can get this and loan repayment also?
CB,
I am not sure about loan repayment,as I have heard many different things. Right now all I am worrying about is getting my correct orders before I leave. I have not checked to see my enrollment in ATTRS yet, but know that I should be there. My PhD will be in Public Health: Community Promotion and Education, the program is 122 credits in length. It will have taken me 10 quarters (2.5 years) if I am able to finish it by Aug 09. It has been quite the experience. Email me if you are able to get into the Oct OBLC course, I would love to see you there!
