Hi I am In college and studying for a MA My goal is to work in the field around pregnant women and babies.Is there any requirements to reach my goal as a OBGYN Nurse and any tips when it comes to my internship which is in jan. I live in San Diego CA. I am highly curious on any important and nessecerary information that will help me.THanks a lot and i am looking forward in hearing some of your answers.

By the way is it better to start as a Family practitioner nurse or should i go straight to a OBGYN nurse?

An OB/GYN nurse is an RN. A family practitioner nurse is an advanced practice nurse (so, more schooling, higher degree than an RN). You wouldn't START as a family practitioner.

When you say you're in college for your MA, do you mean Medical Assistant, or Master of Arts. If you're wanting to be an RN, why not just go to nursing school instead of MA?
