So here is what is going on with my problem *down there*

Published

Well, I went to the doctor regarding my problem and she did a pap, palpated my innards and told me it looked like I had an infection. She gave me an antibiotic and said that my bleeding could be caused by an infection. That was releiving. She told me she would give me a call if there was anything wrong with the results.

Well, she gave me a call, but thankful it wasn't bad news. She seemed almost disappointed to tell me that I didn't have chlamidia or another STD. My pap smear was normal. She asked me if I still had any of my complaints and I said "yes". I had very bad cramping all month, regardless of my cycle. She told me that the antibiotics would probably cure me, but to call her if I have any abnormal bleeding. I said ok.

Well....:( Not even two days later, I start my period again. When I started my period, I had just ended it 11 days prior. Not only this but it was extremely heavy.

I am extremely irritated with my body right now. I really don't want to call the doctor again. I am now tempted to just ride this out until I graduate now that I know that my cervix is OK at least. I can't afford frequent doctor's visits, even if I do go to Planned Parenthood. My MIL is now telling me it is probably a fibroid and it is "normal". Ugh.

So what would you do in my situation? I have decided that unless I start to constantly bleed with no releif, I am just going to keep a journal of all the times I bleed over the next few months, and then call up the doctor and see what she says. This may seem foolish, but money is so freakin' tight. My husband had to work 5 hours of overtime at a job he absolutely hates so I could go to the doctor.

Well, I will quit grumbling. I have to go study maternity and cardiac. I am a smart girl, and I will probably call Planned Parenthood over the next week to see what they can do for me. Thanks all!

Hi Kim,

I just had to reply to your post. PLEASE don't get angry with me.....but I had to :D when I read how the dr. palpated your innards. That was classic. You have a way with words and it is quite refreshing!

On a serious note....I hope you will see your doctor and I hope that you get better soon. I know your illness is no laughing matter. Good luck in school and take care of yourself!:kiss

No offense taken, Angie. :) Maybe it is just hormones that some birth control pills could take care of. Thanks for the luck...I feel that I am going to need it. I just realized while rereading my post that my grammar is just awful! Please forgive me, I am a better writer than that.
