I'm applying for the Spring 2011 term and I was wondering if anyone out there is also applying or applied last semester and had info about how difficult it is to get in. Judging from the website, it seems like all they really care about is your results on the NLN pre-entrance exam. Is this the case?
Also, if anyone is currently enrolled in the nursing program I was wondering how rigorous it is compared with other classes you've taken at Oakton?
Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ashley
Thanks for the confidence, I appreciate it. I have bitten off all my nails and am talking to anyone who will listen to me about how letters might be coming out this week :\
I have already been taking pre-reqs for a year and a half, and that's on top of a previous BA degree! I just want to get started! ARGH!!!
The info in 103 is pretty much common sense. I don't think anyone ever fails 103. 104 is the class to worry about more. Do you have to do the community project for 103? When I took the class each group received 100% on the project so those were basically free points, though I will admit that all the presentations were hilarious and took a lot of work.

It was on Mon, Tues, and Wed the week before classes. I also asked somebody who started for fall 2010 and they also had it on Mon-Wed, the week before classes.
