Hi everyone! I got accepted for early admission. Just curious for those of you who also got accepted what your plan is for loans now that we have the cap😭 is there a Facebook group for those of us already accepted?

Hey guys, has anyone received the second round of invite to interview in January yet?

There is not a group yet! I was planning on starting one once the final deadline passes and we have our entire cohort, but if you start one now I know myself and my friend would join! Super excited.

Applied for the second round at Oakland. Looking forward to the process. Good luck everyone. Congratulations to those already accepted!

Hey, if you don't mind me asking when did they send you the email for the 2nd portion of interview?

Just wondering, does everyone that applied get an invitation for the KIRA video interview?

From what I gathered from the early application cycle after talking to SRNA's and faculty, not "everyone" gets an invite to the KIRA, but most people do.

The people that don't get invited to KIRA have incomplete applications, resume errors, didn't actually meet every requirement, etc... so like the minuscule details that get missed and then of course a small fraction of those people that do have everything miss out as well just for competitive purposes.

To give a hard number, I'd guess 90% of people who do everything correctly and look competent get invited. And then about 1/3rd of the KIRA applicants get invited to in person. And it looks like they're giving out 28-32 seats this year with about 15 of those already taken from the early application cycle.

Got it. That helps a lot. Thanks! I wonder how many they will be interviewing from the second cycle if there are only a few seats left.

Does anyone know when we will hear back? I did get my application in 1 day before the deadline, but I haven't heard anything regarding Kira assessment or rejection

For the kira video interview, is it true that for every question, you get 2 minutes to think about and 90 seconds to respond?

I don't remember how long exactly I got to think, but it was a pretty decent time. Long enough for me to come up with an answer at least.
