Oakland Community College 2015 Applicants

Hey i submitted my application for nursing school in August of 2014. And I'm trying to get in the occ program in 2015..are there anyone else on this site that currently attends occ and plan to apply for there program..its nice to meet people that go to the same school and program

Hey there I didn't know occ still has nursing. Did you go to the Southfield Campus?

No I'm not currently a student at occ when I went to register for the program I was told that nursing is no longer offered. I no longer live in the area so I am looking into Dorsey

Hmmm..I don't think that is true I'm wait inning on my letter in March I called the occ highland lakes campus and they have my application and all my pre requisites for the RN program, which campus did you go to? and which program did you ask about?

Hi! I also applied to the program and received my acceptance letter in March! I was chosen for the "Winter Semester start" but will be starting this Fall with Pharmacology. Which semester will you be starting? :)

Congrats!! I will begin summer for Pharmacology..I actually start pharm in a few weeks which is May 11th and then the fall for foundations..I just received my packet from for my other requirements such as immunizations, background check and etc..

I just received my information packet as well a few days ago :) do you know what class you will be in yet for pharmacology? I keep checking online services but it is not showing up anything yet. I'm hoping I get what I put as my first choice, I'm assuming it's not a first come first serve basis and as soon as I received my acceptance letter in February I replied within a couple days!

I applied for the morning pharmacology for summer but I guess it wasn't available so they ended up putting me on Mondays from 1:00-4:45 I'm registered online also now I just need to make the payment soon..remember the last day May 6, 2015 for the summer

I applied for the morning one too and that's the one I got for Wednesday mornings from 8:30-12:30. I've just ordered my book too, I'm renting it from Chegg.com

not sure if you've heard of it but you can rent your books there for a pretty decent price, with shipping and everything I paid 27 dollars for the book! I have to return it at the end of the semester but that's ok...
