I wanted to know what the schedule is like for the 15month accelerated program, are you in M-F, 8-12hr days?

Is it overwhelming? How difficult is it to keep up with course work, gpa minimum, studying, how are exams scheduled, considering semesters are usually 18credits, are professors good with scheduling exams around each-other..

please share clinical experience if possible...

I'm excited, nervous and overwhelmed all at the same time and any help would be appreciated.. btw i start the absn in the fall 2010

thanks in advance:specs:

Have you already been admitted to the 15-mo program for Fall 2010?

yes well i was accepted for the spring 2010 semester but i still need to knockout my nutrition course before beginning the 15mon program which will be in the fall.

Hi!

I would love to know the answer to JPena's original question! I am also finishing pre-reqs at NYU this semester then starting the ABSN program Fall 2010.

I too am very excited, nervous and curious about the whole experience- particularly at NYU!

Thanks!

THANK YOU jpena8 and ackalison!!! Appreciate you answering my questions....SO wish I was already at NYU. :( ....Hopefully, I'll see both of you next fall!!!

Hi everyone, it's glad to see many of you are interested in coming to NYU Nursing. I am currently a NYU nursing student, and I'd love to share some thoughts/information/experiences about NYU Nursing. The reason I am putting up this post (and I will start another thread as well) is because I too went through a process of application with tons of confusion/questions/decision, and wished someone was there to answer some of my concerns. So I'll be available this Saturday Feb 20th (2010 of course), around 3PM-5PM at the starbucks cross street from NYU's Bobst library for a two hour Q&A session. PM me or email me first so I can have a head count. Hopefully I can be some sort of assistance, and truly wish all of you can attend NYU next fall! Good luck!
