NYU ABSN Spring 2022

Hi all! Didn't see a forum for the upcoming Spring 2022 start date deadline, so thought I'd make one ? Good luck to all of you applying!! Feel free to post any questions, concerns, stats, etc.

Hi guys!

My name is Jessica and I just submitted my application to NYU's Spring 2022 program a couple of days ago. I have a 3.035 GPA from a public health major (my university is one of the hardest in my state after Princeton) which I am iffy about and have 3 more prerequisites to retake. I struggled my first year so I included 2 recommendations on my application. After I sent my app through Common App I got a confirmation email from NYU's undergraduate admission that they received it. Hope this helps! Crossing my fingers!

Making a last minute decision to apply for next year Spring start instead of fall. It's also my first time applying to a nursing program, sorry if this is stupid.. is there any specific place to put our prerequisite grades in the commonapp? Or do they just look at our transcript?

Also, I still have 1 more prerequisite to take- where do we include that information? Or will they assume I am going to complete it prior to start?

Greetings, everyone. Did anyone receive a Net ID and a student ID number (the “N”) while waiting to hear the decision? Asking for my friend. Thank you either way!

Ohh how exciting! Does this mean that she is closer to being accepted? Or is this more of a common occurrence during this process?

Haha no, all the applicants receive it. It’s just so they’re able to view their status/missing items and what not.

The website says the application deadline is October 15th, but the commonapp says November 1st... does anyone know which one it is?

Hey! Since the website specifically says the October 15th I would go by that. I did an online ABSN info session over the Summer and they said October 15th as well.

How did you guys submit the transcript on the common app? I am having issues

I think your supposed to submit your transcripts to the email or address in the NYU ABSN website directly from your school. The one on common app are the unofficial entries. Correct me if I’m wrong.

The one in the common app is the Parchment transcript credentials. I didn't upload it myself
