NYU ABSN Spring 2022

Hi all! Didn't see a forum for the upcoming Spring 2022 start date deadline, so thought I'd make one ? Good luck to all of you applying!! Feel free to post any questions, concerns, stats, etc.

Hey man let’s try not to lose hope! So far they haven’t asked me at all for midterm grades and I have one per req remaining.  
I also want to point out again I’ve spoken to admissions a few days ago; and they told me that checklists being visible or not have nothing to do with the application status.

yeah I have three pre reqs in progress too. All of the midterm grades are in the high 90s though. I just feel like if my application really stood out they wouldn't have asked for midterm grades. 

are you guys going to apply to any other ABSN programs for fall 2022?

I feel the same way. I submitted good grades for the pre reqs I already took.

I am currently taking stats,nutrition, and micro though. I wasnt shocked when they requested midterm grades for those classes. Anyway I submitted them and im hoping for the best. Im also graduating this fall. Maybe they wanted to make sure im on the top of my game and will actually graduate? who knows? 

Currently taking 6 classes including the pre reqs and thats  A LOT. trust me. Hopefully they take that into consideration and accept me LOL

Are they even still giving out acceptances at this point ?

Don’t worry, it’s a slow process. They’re sending acceptances until December. I think rejections get sent last but IDK about wait lists.

It’s been said in the application portal that they send out acceptances by November and December, we have to realize there’s probably hundreds and hundreds if not thousands of applicants for this program. 
We should have more patience with the admissions and more faith you guys, I can only imagine it’s more difficult for them knowing they can only accept a certain amount. 
This is also assuming they send out decisions once or twice a week. 
 ?

for those who submitted midterm reports, any update? 

I submitted mine a few days ago and still nothing ? why do they even want to see it? makes me worry

I think it’s a good sign if they ask for midterm grades. I haven’t heard back, but I sent mine on 11/4. Hope we hear something soon
