NYU ABSN Fall 2018

I decided to start a thread for the NYU accelerated nursing program since I have not seen one for fall 2018:)

Did not hear anything back yet, too...

Hey guys! I applied as an non accelerated nursing program and still waiting to hear back.

How are you guys all planning to pay for the school btw?

It's so expensive...

Hey! So I'm going to take out loans for the entire thing, personal and perkings. I'm also considering doing the nurse corps program... I'm still thinking about it tho because it is a minimum 2 year commitment.

I applied very last minute, therefore getting recommendation letters was not possible for me. Does that totally erase my chance of getting accepted, even though they were optional?

Hey I don't think not having the recommendation letter would erase your chance. I would think like that if recommendation letters were required but in this case it's not. Good luck!

Hi I have applied to the program for fall 2018 as well!! I am so excited but nervous because the website states that they received the highest number of applications this year!! So it definitely makes me feel like this year is more competitive. But keeping my fingers crossed we find out in June. I have a 2.7 and experience working as a breastfeeding counselor. Currently completing my hours to become a certified lactation consultant which with a nursing degree would be my ideal career! Anyone else? As excited and nervous?

I read they had a increase in admissions applications for first year undergrads but I would like to know where the info about the absn program came from as well

I think someone got their accpatance in the first of April.

I read last year's posts, some people got their accptance in the third week of April. Some poeple got their accptance in May.
