All4nursungRN--I was just about to post something similar--I am very curious about rockefeller u. I am contemplating a switch to research nursing. I see from your other posts that you may be less than thrilled with your job, and would love to hear more about your experience at RUH before I pursue a career change as well--thank you!
Hi Grachia, yes research nursing is very interesting, but I would not recommend RUH, very low nursing staff morale and little respect for RN's as that we're not the ''scientists'' also poor management. I would love to find a better research job in the future though as that I still love learning about new things. Best of luck to you! Feel free to pm me with any other questions.
Hi All4NursingRN, this thread is a little old but I wanted to f/u. I have almost a year of m/s experience and was interested in going into nursing research. I applied to RUH but just read your post abt how bad it was!
Would you recommend I not apply there? The position is PT. I am not happy with bedside nursing and thought research nursing wld open another door for me.
Were you able to use your RUH experience as a stepping stone for other research opportunities? I will also PM you. Thanks so much!!

This is my dream job! research nursing. I saw a posting online, I applied, and I also sent an email to HR. My next step is to walk in to HR possibly.
Anyone know of this hospital or how to get my foot in the door???
