NYC Dept. of Edu. LPN Interview process

U.S.A. New York

Published

I just passed my TEAS exam, after passing the CNET exam, and am now required to get my physical and paperwork together. Has anyone actually gone through the interview process? And if so, do you have any detailed info on what to expect?? I'm a tad nervous, and hoping that money forked out for the cpr and other prep pays off in the interview. Any info would be helpful and put my mind at ease a bit. Thanks!!

Every schools interview process is different, with mine I just had to answer 10 question then we went over the uniform and program. The questions where really easy, like why do you think we have an uniform policy, why did you choose this program etc. The worst part is the lead up to the interview and sitting in the waiting area waiting for your turn. I am sure you will do fine!

There is no interview there. They will just take your papers, check if your have everything ,and ask you to wright an essey why do you want to be a nurse. That's it. So don't be afraid.

As for me, I'm nervous if passing CNET and TEAS let you be in. I'm afraid it is not a garantee. :grumpy:
